About Alex

Alex Binkley is an Ottawa based freelance journalist, fiction author, book reviewer and writing coach. His first book Humanity’s Saving Grace will be followed by a sequel entitled A Biot’s Odyssey.

They are speculative fiction stories about a partnership of humans, an alien species named Beings, and their biological robots, the Biobots or more commonly Biots.

Alex has three other spec fiction books in preparation—By Intelligent Design, Ultimate Wizard and Consciousness Rising—as well as fantasy story entitled The Circle.

Alex has reviewed books for the Ottawa Review of Books and on Goodreads and Amazon and Barnes & Noble.

He is a member of the Monday Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers Group, Ottawa Independent Writers and the Canadian Parliamentary Press Gallery.
